mbar presents Submerse dj set at the opening of a new club, named after his album: SoulGem. The club is hosted by djs LunaChill and Tuisku.

Hailing from Cheshire, Submerse is an esteemed DJ/producer with a distinct and recognisable sound that traverses 2step, Beat Music, Ambient, Hip Hop and Drum and Bass whilst being punctuated by a myriad of unique and personal influences.

The past two years have seen him at his most prolific, releasing tracks/remixes with Hospital Records, Med School, R&S sister label Apollo, Ministry Of Sound and Sony Music. Also EPs on Maltine Records (Japan) Frijsfo Beats and Well Rounded. He's had tracks featured by Pioneer Japan on some of there latest equipment and sponsorship from Terratag Clothing. Submerse was also named 'Band Of The Week' In The Guardian newspaper. Amidst a plenitude of productions, 2011 also saw support emerge from influential media titans such as DJ Mag, XLR8R, Big Up, BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio 1xtra.

SoulGem introduces fresh sounds from future garage to ambient and post dubstep.

The second Acoustic Tuesday of the summer season brings us Selja Sini and her ukulele playing indie and folk influenced pop, supported by dj Iku.

The 21 year old singer-songwriter has created her folk- and indie-influenced pop music in Finland and the US for the last five years. She has received national acclaim by participating in Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu and the singer competition Voice of Finland separating herself from other contestants with her delicate renditions and joyful performance

Underground Art Weekend hosts an art auction at mbar terrace, followed by a live set by an Estonian band Alla Poldvee Trio (EE), with the evening fired up by Taikatulet fire performance, djs Oded Peled, 3rrd & Dallas.

ANNA PÕLDVEE TRIO is a collective formed by three friends, who have the biggest love for music. The guitarist Erki Pärnoja and the drummer Kristjan Kallas are members of the Estonian indie-band “Ewert and the two dragons”. The singer Anna has worked with many jazz musicians in Estonia, also made collaborations with several indie, hip-hop and electronic music projects. Trio is going to perform some oldies, as well as hits from today, all with a little “something extra".

Inside mbar there is an exhibit by various artists involved in the weekend's programme.
