Acoustic Tuesday this week presents two bands consisting of female singers and their talented male orchestras. Alice Aloof is a trio for the capital area. The band plays minimalistic folk music with a touch of pop and blues. The band spent time at a studio recently and is releasing a limited batch of EP's in the summer. Liisa Oikari from Alice Aloof has selected artits for mbar's Acoustic Tuesday series.

Kanerva Pasanen is a singer-songwriter whose brilliant sähköpoikabändi "the electric boyband" has been playing together since the end of 2008. Kanerva and her boys combine fluent story telling, reggae, a hint of pop and acoustic songwriting traditions in their music.
