how to find us?

by walking
a) in the building called Lasipalatsi Media Center, between Helsinki Railway station and Helsinki bus station; between metro stations Rautatieasema and Kammpi Shopping Centre.

From Kamppi metro station, exit towards downtown and keep to your left as you walk towards Finnish Contemporary Art Museum Kiasma. mbar is located in the Northern corner of Lasipalatsi building. Our address is Mannerheimintie 22-24, yet our door is towards Salomonkatu, a tiny pedestrian street before Mannerheimintie. Currently there is a taxi stop right in front of mbar.

b) opposite of Kiasma contemporary art museum. There is a horse statue in front of Kiasma. If you look the same direction the horse does, you are looking at mbar.

c) next to YLE national broadcast company city studio. Morning news talk show is shot on location next to mbar between 6-9 am.

d) corner of Mannerheimintie and Salomonkatu. Other landmarks include Paasikivi statue (two obelisks, through which you can see the parliament house).

e) our terrace is on the Lasipalatsi square right in front of our South end window. There is a tunnel/corridor that goes from Salomonkatu to the courtyard past our aquarium like windows. Bio Rex movie theatre is above us.
